1905 First Rotary Club was organized in Chicago
1910 First convention was held in Chicago
1912 First club outside of US was formed in Winnipeg
1914 First club in our district  was formed in Decatur
1915 Bloomington Rotary club was formed
1933 4-Way test was formulated by Chicago Rotarian Herbert J. Taylor
1945 Forty-nine Rotarians helped draft United Nations Charter
1947 Paul Harris, Rotary founder died
1985 Rotary announces PolioPlus program
1989 Council on Legislation opens Rotary to women
1990 Bloomington-Normal Sunrise received its charter on June 14
1990 First club in Soviet Union chartered in Moscow
1994 Western Hemisphere declared polio-free
1994 Teena Griffin installed as president of BN Sunrise Club
1995  Adam Funk installed as president of BN Sunrise Club
1996 Andy Bartolone installed as president of BN Sunrise Club
1997 Dennis Brtva installed as president of BN Sunrise Club
1998 John Wohlwend installed as president of BN Sunrise Club
1999 Rex Schaeffer installed as president of BN Sunrise Club
2000 Ann Harding installed as president of BN Sunrise Club
2001 Joe Mikulecky installed as president of BN Sunrise Club
2002 William Yoder installed as president of BN Sunrise Club
